"Multi-party Mediation/Facilitation is used when the conflict involves several parties, many issues and/or the need for multiple meetings." This process can be applied to private and/or public parties with intra-organizational and/or inter-organizational concerns. This form of ADR may involve one or multiple Mediators/Facilitators. This process is used to resolve identified conflicts, define issues not yet identified, set up a plan to address disputes as they arise, or work out general discord that has not yet become a clearly defined dispute. The process generally involves creating a climate in which parties are able to speak with, listen to and hear each other. The goal of this process is to reach a resolution or a framework for cooperation.
